Custom Calling Features

Touch tone allows you to dial faster and more accurately than with rotary dialing. You can make special calls, such as those requiring a credit card.

Call forwarding lets you transfer your incoming calls to any telephone you can dial directly. In order t activate this feature the subscriber dials the activation code then wait for a 4 second time out period to bypass the timeout touchtone subscribers can dial #. A special dial tone is returned and the subscriber dials the number to which calls are to be forwarded. Once the station to which calls are to be forwarded answers the feature is then activated. To deactivate the subscriber dials the deactivation code and waits for confirmation tone. Once it is received the option is deactivated.

Remote Call Forwarding lets you remotely administer Call Forwarding.

Call waiting lets you know when someone else is calling when your on the telephone. If someone calls you while you are on the phone you will hear a tone letting you know someone else is calling simply flash the switch hook and the person you were talking to will be put on hold while you answer the incoming call. Flash the switch hook again to get back to your original call.

Toll Control lets you control outgoing Toll calls with a Personal Identification Number (PIN).

Short speed calling lets you call 8 frequently called numbers by dialing one digit. Numbers can be local or long distance. To assign or change an abbreviated code the subscriber dials the registration code and waits for special dial tone. Then dial the code followed by the telephone number it represents. The subscriber waits for confirmation tone, once received then goes on hook to complete the entry.

Long speed calling lets you call 30 frequently called numbers by dialing two digits. Numbers can be local or long distance. To assign or change an abbreviated code the subscriber dials the registration code and waits for special dial tone. Then dial the code followed by the telephone number it represents. The subscriber waits for confirmation tone, once received then goes on hook to complete the entry.

Three-way calling lets you add a third party to your existing conversation. In order to use this feature if you are talking on the phone and wish to add someone else to the conversation flash the hook switch wait for special dial tone. Then dial the person you wish to add to the conversation while the other person is on hold. Flash the hook switch one more time and all three people will be on the line. If the person you dialed does not answer flash the hook switch twice and you can return to your original conversation.

Home intercom allows you to call extension phones in your home.

Cancel call waiting before you place a call so you're not interrupted by incoming calls. To activate the subscriber dials the cancel call waiting access code after going off hook wait for dial tone and go ahead and make the call. Once you hang up after your conversation call waiting is automatically turned back on.

Call forward on busy allows you to forward incoming calls to another pre-selected line while your line is busy. To activate the subscriber dials the activation code and waits for special dial tone then dials the number to be forwarded to.
